About This Form
Form I-751 is used by certain conditional permanent residents to request removal of the 2-year conditions placed on their Green Card. Conditional permanent residents who obtained their status through marriage must generally file I-751 jointly with their spouse or request a waiver.
Form I-751 must generally be filed within the 90-day window before the conditional Green Card expires. Filing on time is critical. Always verify the current filing instructions and fee on USCIS.gov.
