Refund Policy

Migrant Navigator Service Center

Effective Date: June 20, 2026

Private Service Provider — Not a Government Agency. Migrant Navigator Service Center is not affiliated with USCIS, EOIR, DHS, IRS, or any government agency.

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for services purchased through Migrant Navigator Service Center ("Migrant Navigator," "we," "our," or "us").

By purchasing or using our services, you agree to this Refund Policy.

1. General Refund Policy

Migrant Navigator Service Center provides administrative support, document preparation assistance, translation support, client intake, document organization, tax support, insurance assistance, and related services.

Refunds depend on the type of service requested, the amount of work already completed, and the stage of the client file.

A payment does not guarantee a refund.

2. Service Fees Are Separate From Government Fees

Migrant Navigator service fees are separate from USCIS, EOIR, DHS, IRS, biometrics, asylum, or any other government filing fees. Government filing fees are not included in our service fees unless clearly stated in writing.

Government fees paid directly to a government agency are not refundable by Migrant Navigator Service Center.

If a government agency changes a fee, rejects a filing, denies an application, delays a case, or refuses to refund a government fee, Migrant Navigator Service Center is not responsible for refunding that government fee.

3. Non-Refundable Services

Some services may become non-refundable once work has started. The following services may be non-refundable after work begins:

  • Document preparation assistance
  • Immigration intake review
  • Back-office review
  • Translation services
  • Certified translations
  • Cover letter preparation
  • Proof of Service preparation
  • Document organization
  • Case file review
  • Tax preparation services
  • Insurance application assistance
  • Administrative follow-up support
  • Rush services
  • Printing, mailing, scanning, or upload support
  • Consultation or information sessions already completed

4. Refund Before Work Starts

A client may request a refund if:

  • Payment was made by mistake
  • Duplicate payment was made
  • The client cancels before any work begins
  • No intake review, document preparation, translation, or back-office work has started

If approved, the refund may be issued to the original payment method when possible. Processing fees charged by payment processors may not be refundable.

5. Partial Refunds

A partial refund may be considered if some work has been completed but the full service has not been delivered. Partial refunds may depend on:

  • Time spent reviewing the file
  • Documents already prepared
  • Translations already started or completed
  • Staff work already performed
  • Administrative costs
  • Payment processing fees
  • Printing, scanning, or mailing costs
  • Urgency or rush service fees
  • Any completed portion of the service

Migrant Navigator Service Center has the right to determine whether a partial refund is appropriate.

6. No Refund After Service Completion

No refund will be issued after a service has been completed and delivered. A service may be considered completed when:

  • Intake review has been completed
  • Documents have been prepared
  • Translations have been completed
  • A final document package has been provided
  • A receipt, invoice, or completed file has been issued
  • Staff has completed the requested administrative support
  • The client has downloaded or received the completed document package

7. Client Delay or Missing Information

Refunds may not be issued if a service is delayed because the client:

  • Did not provide required information
  • Did not upload required documents
  • Did not respond to correction requests
  • Provided incorrect or incomplete information
  • Did not review or sign documents
  • Did not pay remaining balance
  • Missed appointments
  • Failed to follow instructions

The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information in a timely manner.

8. No Guarantee of Approval or Outcome

Migrant Navigator Service Center does not guarantee approval, acceptance, processing speed, refund, immigration benefit, tax result, insurance approval, or any government decision. A government denial, rejection, delay, request for evidence, court decision, or agency action does not automatically qualify the client for a refund. Government agencies make their own decisions based on their rules, procedures, and review process.

9. Duplicate Payments

If a client makes a duplicate payment by mistake, the client should contact us as soon as possible. After verification, we may refund the duplicate payment, minus any non-refundable payment processing fees if applicable.

10. Incorrect Payment Amount

If a client pays the wrong amount, Migrant Navigator Service Center may:

  • Apply the payment toward the correct balance
  • Request the remaining balance
  • Issue a partial refund if there is an overpayment
  • Create a corrected invoice

11. Rush Fees

Rush service fees may be non-refundable once the rush service has started. Rush service means the client requested faster handling, same-day service, priority review, expedited document preparation, or urgent back-office support.

12. Translation Refunds

Translation fees may be non-refundable once translation work begins. If a translation has already been completed or delivered, no refund will be issued for that translation. If a client requests a correction due to an error made by Migrant Navigator Service Center, we may correct the translation at no additional charge.

13. Tax Service Refunds

Tax preparation fees may be non-refundable once tax review, preparation, filing support, or document review has started. A refund is not guaranteed because of:

  • Lower refund amount than expected
  • Tax debt
  • IRS delay
  • IRS review
  • IRS rejection based on client information
  • Missing documents
  • Incorrect information provided by the client

14. Insurance Service Refunds

Insurance service fees may be non-refundable once an insurance application, quote request, policy review, or client support service has started. Migrant Navigator Service Center does not guarantee insurance approval, premium amount, coverage availability, or carrier decision.

15. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, the client must contact Migrant Navigator Service Center. Refund requests should include:

  • Client full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Service purchased
  • Payment date

16. Refund Review Time

Refund requests may take time to review. Migrant Navigator Service Center may need to check:

  • Payment history
  • Client file status
  • Work completed
  • Staff notes
  • Documents prepared
  • Service stage
  • Payment processor records

Refund decisions may be provided by email, portal message, phone, or written notice.

17. Refund Method

Approved refunds will usually be issued to the original payment method when possible. Depending on the payment method, refunds may take several business days to appear. For manual payments such as Zelle, Cash App, cash, or office payment, refund method may be handled case by case.

18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a client files a chargeback or payment dispute with a bank, card company, or payment provider, Migrant Navigator Service Center may pause the client's service until the dispute is resolved. Filing a chargeback does not guarantee a refund. We may provide records, receipts, service notes, uploaded documents, messages, and proof of work performed to respond to payment disputes.

19. Right to Refuse Service

Migrant Navigator Service Center may refuse, pause, or end service if:

  • False information is submitted
  • Fraudulent documents are provided
  • Payment is not completed
  • Client refuses to provide required information
  • Client violates website policies
  • Client uses abusive or threatening language
  • Service cannot be completed for administrative reasons

Refund eligibility in these cases will depend on work already completed and the circumstances.

20. Changes to This Refund Policy

Migrant Navigator Service Center may update this Refund Policy at any time. If changes are made, the effective date may be updated at the top of this page. Continued use of the website or services means the client accepts the updated Refund Policy.
